New Zealand Pine softwood blocks with grip cuts for use with Bovi-Bond, or other hoof-block adhesives. Softwood blocks do not last as long as hardwood, wearing down more quickly, so usually do not have to removed at the end of treatment. Length 112 mm.

Optional softer wood blocks for use with Bovi-Bond, Septicare or
other hoof-block adhesives. Single-direction grip cuts. These blocks are
useful where a shorter wear period is desired. Blocks wear off in 4-6
weeks, so removal is not necessary. Length 125mm. Specialists in hoof trimming can have different views on which are
better - softwood or hardwood blocks. At Shoof we are supplying hardwood
blocks as default in our hoof-blocking kits, but offering both blocks
for restocking. Hardwood blocks last longer on the hoof, and are
probably the most reliable treatment for severe injuries.
