The emasculator handle is fitted into a variable speed power drill which is operated to twist the cord until it breaks, using a closed castration technique. The tunic effectively ties off the vessels, providing superior haemostasis and minimising complications. A DVD is available showing how to use the instrument (or it can be viewed on the Shoof website). *The equine tool has wider opening jaws needed for stallion use.NB: This tool is for use only by an experienced herdsmen under the supervision of a veterinarian.
