The Sekurus Self-Tenting vaccinator delivers accurate, single-handed subcutaneous injections, improving dose placement and control while the needle guard reduces needle stick injuries.
The Sekurus Self-Tenting Series safety vaccinator is designed specifically for reliable subcutaneous injections in livestock, with a strong focus on operator safety, control and accurate dose placement. Its patented self-tenting needle guard grips and lifts the animal’s skin before needle penetration, ensuring the dose is delivered correctly under the skin while keeping the injector stable on moving animals. This reduces misplacement, minimizes animal discomfort, and improves injection accuracy. The self-tenting needle guard significantly reduces the risk of needle stick injuries and minimises needle damage, extending needle life and making needle changes faster and safer. Designed for single-handed use, the Sekurus vaccinator allows operators to maintain a safer working distance while delivering consistent, accurate subcutaneous injections. The Sekurus features a two-stage activation mechanism which allows the operator to keep the needle covered and delay needle penetration until animal movement has settled, with the trigger to release the vaccine only becoming active once the needle guard has been retracted and the needle is fully inserted. This improves control and safety when working in yards, chutes and cattle crushes. The ergonomic V-Grip handle is designed for secure, comfortable one-handed operation, helping reduce hand fatigue during repeated injections. A selectable dosage control, known as the Dial-A-Dose, allows quick and accurate dose adjustment. Non-slip selectors enable changes without product loss, while the clear indicator window displays the selected volume at a glance.
